After many months of owning it, I finally beat Valkyria Chronicles two days ago. Subsequently, I found that I enjoyed the game so much that I played through it a second time... and beat it again today. 8|

Yeah. Such a great game. It has inspired me to do many things, including the reinforcement of my "starting anew" idea. Yep, I will be moving dAs and switching interwebs identities. It'll be uncomfortable to start over, but I think it'll be worth it.

I am also going by a new moniker, "Lutra", so Foxie will exist no more. That nickname is old and worn for me, and many people wonder why the heck I would call myself such a thing. The meaning is gone for me now, so as should the name.

Like /start/ start? Probably five years old. Not seriously until about 15 years old.

◆Which hand do you use for drawing?
I am right handed, soooo yeah. 8D

◆Which is easier to draw - male or female?
Male. XD I have such a hard time with women now!

◆Which is easier to draw - long hair or short hair?
Hair in either form is very fun. :3

◆Is it easier to draw the head facing towards the right or the left?
Er, I can do either way decently, but I think I tend to have them face the left more often.

◆Is it easier to draw the side view of the face or the front view?
Side or partial side view is easier for me for some reason. o_0

◆What do you have problems in drawing?
Hands, feet, shading, poses...lots of stuff. DB I have so much to learn.

◆What do you like to draw?
People mostly, but I want to start drawing landscapes more.

◆Are you a traditional artist or a digital artist?
Digital for me. ♥

◆Where do you start drawing from?

◆What is your drawing habit that you are aware of?
Mmm... settling in places that I shouldn't. Like I should always push myself to do what I want, but instead I tend to just leave what works at the time. :/

◆Any tips for coloring/shading?
For maximum contrast and dynamism use variations of colours. For instance, if your character is pink, use purples, reds, and violets for shading instead of just other shades of pink. It creates a more interesting composition.

◆How long does it take to finish a piece of art?
On average it takes 2-4 hours.

◆What music do you listen to while you draw?
I am most inspired by instrumental. I listen to piano and symphonic pieces. However, most of the time I listen to Final Fantasy/Kingdom Hearts OSTs. XD;

◆How long does it take you to come up with an idea?
Ideas in my brain are usually quite prevalent. It usually takes longer to decide exactly /which/ to choose.

◆Your favorite drawing utensils?
Photoshop and my Wacom Intuos3 tablet are my favourite. :3

◆Your favorite color/the color that you use a lot?
Well skin tones are used a lot by me since I draw people. However, I think I use a lot of blue, black, and grey. Dunno though.

◆Your favorite style(s)?
Realism is probably my favourite. I like anime style too, but I am finding myself turned off by it more and more.

◆What kind of artist are you aiming for?
Having a style that I can proudly identify as my own and being able to recreate that style as it is my own. I currently have trouble with keeping with my own style.

In other news, my grandfather is in really bad shape. He fell and broke his hip last Wednesday. :/ He has been in the hospital since then... D': The worst part is that I haven't even gotten to see him yet. >_< That makes me feel like crap. -sigh-

I decided to start up my LJ again because I have been so incredibly bored online recently. Even with Neo, the only other sites I go to are this one, dragonadopters, hotmail, leopets, and LJ to read about and download music. That is IT. Ugh. -lame-

Sometimes I read articles about games coming out, but that has been a rarity.


Soooo yeah. I want to try to expand my horizons a bit. Writing about stuff I like will (hopefully) make me read some sources outside of the ones I already do. :c
